I’ve been wanting to try some tilt shift photography for quite a while now. It’s a method that has been around for as long as photography has and the technique creates a very shallow depth of field, or selective focus, commonly used to create the feel of the scene being a miniature set. “Tilt-shift” involves two different types of movements: rotation of the lens plane in relation to the image plane (called tilt) and movement of the lens parallel to the image plane (called shift).
